- New rules for financial trading
- Markets in Financial Instruments Directive / Market Abuse Directive
- Price developments in the Nordic Power Market
- Harmonized end-user market in the Nordic countries; achievable or not?
The Nordic Power Market will see
several challenges in the years ahead, both in the wholesale market and in the
end-user markets.
The prices are influenced by several energy-related
commodities and in addition the European Union has introduced directives that
will affect most players, also in the Nordic Power Market.
Overall, the result is a market that seems to be more complex than ever!
On Nordic Energy Days this year
we will focus on three main topics that we hope will explain and pinpoint the
different issues which affect the market participants in the Nordic Power
Market:
- The reasons behind and the effects of the new financial market directives from the European Union
- Price developments in the Nordic Market; reasons behind the historical prices and future outlooks
- Time for a harmonized end-user market across the Nordic countries - achievable or not?
